Warkworth in Northumberland

Warkworth is known as the most picturesque village in Northumberland. An all-year-round destination, it enjoys a unique position; encircled by the River Coquet yet within walking distance of one of the finest beaches on the Heritage Coast, giving it both a coast and country feel. Most of our cottages are located here, with a good range of shops, pubs and cafes on hand. We also have cottages nearby at pretty Lesbury village and the fishing port of Amble

Alnwick in Northumberland

Alnwick is a vibrant market town with many interesting attractions, including Alnwick Castle - the setting for Harry Potter's Hogwart's School of Wizardry and Witchcraft and the world famous Alnwick Garden & Treehouse, with its magnificent cascading waterfall. The town centre, with its many restaurants and Playhouse Theatre, is within easy walking distance of our gorgeous restored Georgian cottage ' No. 9 Percy Street'.

The Coquet Valley is in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside and is incredibly picturesque. It's the perfect destination for sightseeing, walking, fishing and birdwatching. The historic market town of Rothbury provides a range of restaurants, pubs and speciality shops. Cragside House and Estate and Hadrian's Wall are both close by and unmissable. Our luxury bolt-hole 'Priory Cottage' is located here in the grounds of Brinkburn Priory.
