A beautifully restored Georgian town house, No. 9 Percy Street is perfectly situated in the Conservation area of Alnwick, just a short walk to all the amenities of the town.

Alnwick sits at the foot of the Cheviot hills and is just 4 miles from the best beaches on the Northumberland Heritage Coastline. You can walk to the famous Alnwick Castle, which is the setting for Harry Potter's 'Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry' and equally famous Alnwick Garden and Treehouse, with its magnificent cascading fountains, 'Poison Garden' and renowned restaurant housed in the Treehouse itself. Barter Books, one of the largest secondhand book stores in the UK is also just a short walk from the cottage and where many an afternoon can be spent browsing their fantastic range of books over a cup of tea or coffee.

Front door opening onto a spacious hall with turned staircase leading to the first floor. Ground floor cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin. Door through to a light and airy lounge. Feature stone-built ornamental fireplace, large flat screen TV with digital channels and DVD player. Small selection of DVD's and books. Free Wi-Fi broadband internet access.
Dining Room & Kitchen
Through from the lounge, there is a step leading up to a large open plan kitchen/dining room. Fully equipped with all the usual appliances, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Dining area with table seating 6. Leading from the kitchen, there is a small, lawned rear garden and a patio furnished with a table and chairs - perfect breakfast for breakfast or lunch on a warm day.

Master bedroom
Four-poster kingsize bed, luxurious Vi-Spring mattress and luxury bedlinen with Egyption cotton bedlinen. Lovely sitting area with 2 armchairs and a coffee table in front of the large Georgian window, which has a pretty and leafy outlook towards St. Paul's Church and grounds. Please note that the Church bells can be heard from this cottage.
Twin Bedroom
The twin bedroom has two full-size singe beds with luxury mattresses and top quality bed linen, wardrobe and easy chair.
The Single Bedroom
The single bedroom has a luxury single bed and top quality bed linen. There is a pretty view of St. Paul's Church and grounds from the South Facing window.
The Family Bathroom
The family bathroom is spacious and has a bath with a wider shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.
