Bundles of Character
This is an exceptionally pretty cottage, extremely cosy yet spacious with bundles of character. We've lost track of the number of guests who've said they just didn't want to leave at the end of their holiday! Although it's central to the village, it's in a very quiet spot and you can quite often only hear the birdsong and the distant ringing of the church bells. Awarded 5 Stars in Visit Britain's 'Quality in Tourism' scheme as well as 'Walkers Welcome' and 'Cyclists Welcome' awards. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.
Ground Floor
Entrance hall off private courtyard garden. Cosy lounge with original inglenook fireplace housing a woodburning stove, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, VHS, hi-fi, library of books, videos and CD’s. Toys and games. Payphone. PlayStation 2 with games (upon request).
Small pretty sun room overlooking a patio garden. Large kitchen/dining room with electric fan-assisted oven, gas hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, integrated wine cooler, dishwasher, washer/dryer and coffee-maker. Door to furnished patio garden. Cloakroom with WC & hand basin.
Bedroom One
Bright and spacious room with dual aspect windows and a view of the castle. Kingsize iron bedstead with luxury pocketsprung mattress, TV with DVD player. This room can accommodate an additional folding bed, suitable for a child of 12 or under, for a small additional charge. Alternatively, a cot can be placed in this bedroom at no extra charge. Please note however, that the dining table and lounge only has seating for 4.
Bedroom Two
Sunny room with dual aspect windows and a view of the castle. 2 single beds with luxury pocketsprung mattresses, which can be converted to a superkingsize bed upon request for a small additional charge of £10.
Bathroom with bath, power-shower, hand basin and WC.
