Guest Feedback for Seafarer
Our visitors’ book at Seafarer is great to read through over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and provide a wealth of recommendations on the best places to eat and visit, as well as some useful tips to benefit other guests. We also send Guest Surveys to all our guests after their holiday and some of their comments are listed here too.
Many guests have listed recommendations for the same lovely places, such as Warkworth Beach, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Barter Books, Holy Island and the Farnes, but for the sake of avoiding repetition in this particular format, we have omitted these recommendations, but they can still be read in full in the visitors’ books in Seafarer.
We enjoyed the accessibility of Seafarer which had wonderful views and a really Comfortable Bed! There was 2 quality recliner chairs, facing towards the view of the Marina. We liked the fact there were TV’s in bedrooms. Seafarer had good parking and great access to restaurants, within walking distance of the property.

The decor was luxurious, amazing location with appealing view and the fresh scones were delicious!
We had a wonderful stay. The property and the views were superb. Thank you. The welcome basket had some lovely extras. Thank you for the Champagne – it was our honeymoon. Very thoughtful touch.
Great property in excellent location. Ideal for less mobile folk as all on one level, comfortable beds and seating and great views. A previous stay in this apartment convinced us it was ideal to return too. Easy access to good eating places and coastal walks. We have friends in the area so we could combine a holiday with visiting. Comfortable and clean with excellent views and all on one level. The office staff are always friendly and helpful when we have had a to contact them. We know that if there are ever any issues or queries they will handle them efficiently.
This was our 6th visit to Seafarer. Love it. We are back again next month and in April 2020. Excellent location with tremendous views. A real luxury apartment. We liked the welcome hamper – Essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, butter, etc.
Our first trip to Northumberland, so we needed a bit of help choosing an area to stay. The team at Coquet Cottages were very knowledgable about the county and individual properties. They were very helpful in offering suggestions to suit our interests and requirements. We then made our choice and booked online, it couldn’t have been easier.’Seafarer’ was everything we hoped for and more. A beautiful and comfortable contemporary apartment, well equipped and with stunning views. We enjoyed staying in the town of Amble, it was just the sort of base we were looking for. It was a great holiday and we would love to book Seafarer with Coquet Cottages again.

This is a beautiful and well equipped apartment.
Amazing apartment, gorgeous views.
We were very impressed and felt that the quality of the accommodation and attention to detail matched the price – unlike a few other companies! Being in an apartment with wonderful views across the marina was a huge novelty and this is what appealed to us. The location in the village and also close to Warkworth was also a factor. It was very well maintained with lots of little touches which we appreciated. We will most definitely use Coquet cottages again when we next visit the area.
The apartment was fabulous the lounge offered a great view of the Marina and over the sand dunes to the bay.Having a balcony was an extra bonus. It was perfectly equipped we couldn’t think of anything which hadn’t been provided. On arrival it was immediately apparent that the apartment was very well cared for and immaculately clean. The location was great with shops and restaurants near by and plenty to see and do in the area.We have been staying in holiday cottages for over 30 years and I am very confident in saying Seafarer is right at the top of our best ever list. Coquet Cottages were excellent in handling our booking and we were most impressed by the attention to detail and customer care before during and after our stay. The welcome hamper was lovely (the scones were yummy) Never before have we been welcomed with flowers.A lovely gesture and one which says a lot about the company .I will have no hesitation in booking with them again.
We have stayed at Coble Quay before but Seafarer has surpassed other apartments. The fresh decor. Very comfy beds. Tv’s in rooms and chairs to enjoy the view have made our stay extra special. I am a busy vicar and came away to re=cooperate after a period of very intense activity and picking up a virus! Our stay here has helped to recharge the batteries and refreshed the mind, body and spirit. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely apartment.

Weathers lovely. Vista eye catching. Alnwick Gardens, Cragside and Barter Books worth a visit. Amazing beaches. Very friendly and helpful people everywhere we went. A week not long enough to visit all the places on our agenda. Thank you Amble.

We had a superb week in this beautiful apartment. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. The comfy leather chairs facing the outstanding views are a great idea (you could spend hours “just chilling!” No complaints whatsoever! Thank you. PS Would recommend The Sand Bar along the street for breakfast, Bertrams in Warkworth Village for lunch and Masons Arms, Warkworth Village.
