The Coasthouse is located in the pretty little village of Beadnell. This accommodation boasts gorgeous coastal views from the impressive balcony and main bedroom, and the interior is beautifully designed throughout with luxury and comfort in mind.
The Coasthouse sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms: 1 superking size bedroom, 1 kingsize bedroom, one twins/ superking bedroom and a bunk bedroom. There is a large family bathroom, an en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom on the 2nd floor, and a ground floor WC.
This gorgeous holiday home benefits from a generous sized living room with large patio doors leading out on to the south-facing balcony. The dining kitchen is very impressive with large dining table, prep island, modern appliances, fixtures and fittings, and very large patio doors leading out to the sociable garden space providing an indoor/ outdoor flow for the summer months.
There is private, off-road parking for 2 cars. Free unlimited Wi-Fi throughout.
Arrival and Entrance
Parking for 2 cars is provided at The Coasthouse, on the private driveway at the front of the property. Entering the house through the front door leads straight into the spacious hallway. There is a welcoming console table with a lamp and mirror, and handy coat hooks in the hallway.
At the front of the property on the ground floor is the small yet stylish bunk bedroom. The room hosts full size single bunk beds (3 ft wide), a chest of drawers, wardrobe, wall mounted mirror and benefits from a Smart TV with Netflix account provided.
Ground Floor WC
Further along the hallway, there is a spacious ground floor WC with toilet, hand basin, large mirror, shelf space and a heated towel rail.
Utility Room and Garage
Again off the ground floor hallway, the handy utility room contains a washing machine, dryer, full-size sink, iron and cupboards providing ample storage space. There is an external side door from the utility room, which is very handy when returning from a beach or countryside walk with wet coats or sandy shoes! The garage is also accessed from the utility room. The garage contains an American-style fridge/ freezer with an ice maker, ironing board, hoover and vax machine. There is plenty of storage space for bikes, surfboards or any other sporting equipment you may want to bring with you.
The kitchen at The Coasthouse is very impressive. Located at the back of the house, two sets of very large patio doors stretch almost the full width of the room, allowing plenty of natural light to flow in. The kitchen is very spacious and provides a great social space for family and friends to get together with a large dining table with bench seating for up to 10 guests, and additional seating at the breakfast bar built within the prep island. The room contains 2 built in electric fan ovens, grill, combination microwave/oven and coffee machine. There is a 5-ring induction hob with extractor fan above, integrated fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, built in wine cooler, 4-piece toaster and a kettle. The kitchen also benefits from a wall-mounted 75 inch Smart TV with Netflix account provided and a Sonos sound bar.
The two sets of patio doors lead from the dining kitchen straight out into the back garden, creating excellent indoor/outdoor flow.
The stairs lead off from the hallway to the first floor where you will find 2 bedrooms, the family bathroom and the lounge.
Lounge and Balcony
With two sets of south facing patio doors, the lounge is very bright and airy, with stunning views looking towards the coastline and to Dunstanburgh Castle on the distant headland. The room contains a luxurious 3 seater sofa, a 5 seater corner sofa, coffee table, console table, casual dining table for up to 4 guests, a 75 inch Smart TV with Netflix account and Sonos sound bar, and a telescope to make the most of the view! The balcony stretches the full length of the room and looks over the pretty back garden, across the village park with a gorgeous view of the sea and castle silhouette in the distance. There is casual outdoor seating provided, and the balcony is a little sun trap from morning until late afternoon in the summer.
Twins/ Superking Bedroom
This gorgeous bedroom benefits from patio doors with a Juliette balcony and glass balustrade, facing out to the front of the house. Guests have the option of 2 full-size twin single beds (3 ft wide) or a superking bed (6 ft wide) in this room (to be selected when booking). The room contains two bedside tables and lamps, a large wardrobe with hanging space and shelf storage, a mirror, open shelf storage and a wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix account provided. There is also a Sonos speaker with a Spotify account provided for guest use and a hairdryer. The patio doors are dressed with blackout blinds and curtains.
Also facing the front of the house, this bedroom contains a kingsize bed (5 foot wide), built in wardrobes with hanging space and shelf storage, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, Smart TV with Netflix account, and a Sonos speaker with Spotify provided. The north-facing windows looks over the driveway and village, and is dressed with blackout blinds and curtains.
The gorgeous family bathroom is part tiled with top quality tiling, and contains a rain fall shower with additional attachment over the bath, wash basin with drawer storage beneath, large wall mirror, shelf space and a heated towel rail. Main Bedroom with en-suite bathroom
The principle room of The Coasthouse is very spacious, with gorgeous warm tones and a fabulous wood panel effect wall behind the bed. There is a comfortable, large window seat taking in the view from the south-facing window, looking out along the coastline. The room contains a super king size bed (6 ft wide), bedside tables with lamps, a dressing table with mirror, lamp and a comfortable seat. The room also benefits from a very large walk-in wardrobe with ample hanging space and shelf storage. The en-suite bathroom is just as gorgeous, with a large, free-standing bath, separate walk in shower, wash basin with drawer storage underneath, shelf space, large mirror and heated towel rail. The rear garden at The Coasthouse is very special; a great hosting space for friends and family to soak in the fresh sea air! The patio area is beautifully decorated with pretty, raised planters, and there is a great range of seating options with an outdoor dining table for up to 8 guests, and casual lounge seating too. There is an outdoor pizza oven (instructions provided) and a designated brick BBQ area with a charcoal BBQ and enough charcoal for 3 uses.
The garden is fully enclosed with fencing, and there is side access from the front of the house – great for returning with dogs after a walk on the beach!

There is a luxury pizza oven and a charcoal BBQ with enough charcoal for 3 uses. Guests are responsible for cleaning the BBQ after use. Bike storage is available in the garage at the front of the house.
On the private driveway there is room for 2 cars. There is a small, gravelled layby opposite the house for a 3rd car if needed, though this space is public and therefore can not be guaranteed.

The Coasthouse is ideally situated in the heart of pretty Beadnell Village, with all amenities and of course the gorgeous Beadnell Bay beach just a short stroll from the front door.
Beadnell Bay and the only west-facing harbour on the east coast of the UK. Beadnell is well-known for it’s watersports and enthusiasts, with many brave people jumping off the Beadnell pier in their wet suits at all times of the year!
In Beadnell there is an excellent, traditional country pub called The Craster Arms, serving great food in a warm and cosy setting. The pub also benefits from a large lawned beer garden, perfect for alfresco dining or an afternoon drink after a walk on the beach. You’ll also find The Salt Water Cafe just opposite the gorgeous St. Ebba’s Church. This new, artisan-style cafe serves gorgeous breakfasts, fresh lunches and home-cooked evening meals when the cafe turns into a licenced bistro.
Head north to Seahouses just 3 miles away up the coast and you’ll find a buzzing seaside town with plenty of shops, cafes, and a traditional ‘bucket and spade’ feel to the town which overlooks the working harbour. Catch the boat over to The Farne Islands with Billy Shiel’s boat trips and admire the stunning views of the coast from the sea.
Bamburgh is just 10 minutes away in the car and Alnwick Market Town can be reached in 15 minutes. Beadnell is a wonderful village to spend a memorable holiday with so much to do on your doorstep yet the rest of Northumberland at your fingertips to discover.

Please note: always check the tide times for the causeway before your visit. The tide comes in very fast and people are often stranded due to not checking the timetable, and have to be rescued by the Coastguard..

We love waking in the morning with the distant view of Dunstanburgh Castle and the kite surfers bobbing up and down at sea. You can tell if the tide is out if you can see the rocks out to sea.
Our favourite thing to do at the end of the day is to walk the dogs to the harbour and watch the sunset. Every day on the beach is different – Enjoy!
