Owners of The Oystercatcher
We asked the owners of The Oystercatcher what drew them to the cottage:
“We were enjoying a short break in Northumberland when we stumbled across the cottage that would be modernised and renovated to become The Oystercatcher. At first sight we were captivated by the charm of this 240-year-old farm workers cottage and felt immediately relaxed as we took in the view across open fields to Bamburgh castle in the distance.
As a family with young children, we absolutely love spending time at the Oystercatcher because of its proximity to breath-taking unspoilt beaches, the peaceful rural setting and the amazing fish and chips less than five minutes away.
Whatever you love about Northumberland it is within easy reach from The Oystercatcher.”
